South of the Market Square, an estate of single-family houses stylised as sieve makers’ houses characteristic of Biłgoraj will be built. 

Sieve makers found their way to Biłgoraj in the 17th century and were an important social and professional group.

Their characteristic residential buildings survived till the second half of the 20th century. The development project envisages more than a dozen types of sieve maker houses, from small ones of 120 m2 with hipped roofs to large ones of 170 m2 covered with half-hipped roofs.
